Beading Boudoir

Hi All
Its been a hectic few months what with all the craft fairs Ive been selling at and the bad news the my mum's got ovarian cancer so has been having chemotherapy. Fortunately she's doing great with very few side effects :-)
I've had a wonderful weekend at Kirton Lindsey and Caistor Vicorian Market. Met some great people and had profitable days ! So good that I've spent most of the week in the workroom making loads of stock and a few new xmas decorations lol. 3 more craft fairs in the next week so it looks like I'm going to be very busy again.
Took my first trip to Hobbycraft in Hull last week too. What a wonderful range of stuff they have. Spent far too much but I've enjoyed using all the bits and pieces I got, especially love the silk and aluminium beads I bought :-)
Have also been down to the Bead Cabin at Silica Lodge, Scunthorpe again. Glenda is a wonderful source of inspiration and fantastic beader. She stocks a really lovely selection of unusual beads so of course I had to treat myself lol. I hope to go to a few of her workshops next year as our styles and techniques are so different it will be interesting to learn more from her.

I had a great time at the Caistor goes 40's street party on sunday 12th July and got quite a few orders too. One of them from a lady who could only wear sterling silver clip on earrings and wanted them in 48 hours for a wedding !!!!. I had the biggest search in this area to get the clip ons and lets just say trying to get sterling silver findings in North Lincs is a thankless task !!.
But the people at MANCHESTER MINERALS are absolutely fantastic (very reasonably priced too) and sent me some on an overnite delivery so all was not lost and my order delivered on time.
All my hard work paid off and I received 2 more orders from the same lady.
Hope to see loads of people this saturday in Brigg at the Farmers market and craft fair in the Angel Suite.

Hi fellow crafters
Have finally now turned the spare room into a dedicated craft haven lol. Its wonderful, all pink, full of beads and other essential crafting items lol. Its been named the beading boudoir by one of my friends and the names' stuck :-)
I wanted to set this page up on my website so that I could let you know whats going on in my jewellery life and hopefully some of you out there will be able to answer a few of the questions that may crop up from time to time :-)
